Morfi is an opinion market, not a prediction market. The winner is decided by where the crowd puts its money — not by a real-world outcome. You’re backing a side, not forecasting a result.

How markets work
The shape of a market, sides, and shares.
Resolution
How a market decides who won — with no referee.
For creators
Launch a market, grow a following, earn from activity.
What makes Morfi different
Conviction, not reaction
Payouts reward people who back a side early and stick with it. Late snipers earn less, every time.
No referees
The market resolves itself. No waiting, no disputes, no delays.
Tribal by design
Every side is its own community with its own chart, feed, and leaderboard.
How it flows
A market opens
Someone poses a question with two or more distinct sides. Each side gets its own price chart and its own community.
Both sides trade
Anyone can buy into the side they believe will win. Small buys move the price a lot early on.
One side pulls ahead
When a side attracts enough support, the market opens up and the resolution clock starts. Comebacks extend the clock.
The market resolves
Whichever side holds the lead through a full confirmation window wins. Losing money funds the winning side.
Common questions
Is this gambling?
Is this gambling?
You’re putting money on an opinion and the outcome is uncertain — treat it that way. Only play with funds you’re comfortable losing.
How is this different from a prediction market?
How is this different from a prediction market?
A prediction market asks “what will happen” and waits for a real-world result. Morfi asks “whose side will win” and lets the market itself decide. No referee. No argument.
Who funds the winners?
Who funds the winners?
The losing side. Money put into losing sides flows into the prize pool, plus fees collected during the resolution phase. Winners split it proportionally.
What stops someone from sniping at the end?
What stops someone from sniping at the end?
A late flip doesn’t win — it just restarts the resolution clock. The attacker then has to defend the new lead for the full window. In practice, sniping gets expensive fast.
