Gifting lets you send value to anyone — a friend, someone you follow, anyone with a Morfi or X handle. You don’t need their wallet address. Pick a handle, pick an amount, and it’s held safely under their name until they sign in to claim it.

Send cash, or anything you hold, to any Morfi or X user. Just choose their handle and how much to send.

It's held safely

Your gift waits securely under their handle until they claim it. They aren’t notified until you tell them — or until they go looking.

They claim it

They sign in to prove the handle is theirs, then it lands in the wallet they choose.

Claw it back any time

Not claimed yet? Pull it back to your wallet whenever you like — there’s no waiting period.
A small fee applies when you send a gift. If you claw the gift back before it’s claimed, that fee isn’t refunded.

Sending anonymously

When you send a gift, you can choose to send it anonymously. This hides your name and Morfi handle from the recipient and from the public gift link — they’ll see a gift, but not who it’s from.
Anonymity hides your name, not your public wallet address. Your wallet’s public address is always visible to anyone who looks — anonymity can’t hide that.

A worked example

Theo wants to surprise a friend who just joined Morfi. He doesn’t know any wallet details — just their X handle. He picks the handle, chooses an amount, and sends it as a surprise, turning on anonymous mode so the gift arrives without his name attached. The gift sits safely under his friend’s handle. A day later his friend signs in, proves the handle is theirs, and the gift lands in their wallet. Had they never claimed it, Theo could have clawed it back to his own wallet at any point.
